Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam
In memory of the past President Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, his collegemate Thiru Sampathkumar, Thiru S.R.Krishnamurthy (Motivational Speaker and Carnatic Mucician) kavingar puviyarasu,Sowbakkiya Wet Grinder Companies MD, Sakthi Masala-Santhi Duraisamy have hosted Kalam’s Poetry and articles in the website www.abdulkalam.in
ST. Pauls Teacher Training College
For final year girl students, training was given in the fields of Pot Drawing, Glass Drawing, Cloth Drawing, and Collage Drawing for three weeks by Camlin Company. At the end of the training, the drawings by the students were displayed.
Jaya Bharatham Kala Kshethra
To develop the individual talents of the students, competitions in Drawing, Painting, elocution, Essay writing are conducted in coordination with Erode Turmeric Lions Club. At a function, winners were awarded with prizes and certificates.
Gobi Arts & Science College
First and Second Year girl students were imported with training in Hand Embroidery for about 40 hours and at the end of the training, the Hand embroidery work done by the students were displayed and prizes were awarded to the winners.
Students Development Programme
At a function organised for the benefit of children in and around Sathyamangalam, the topics on how to improve the skills of school students, how to improve individuality along with sports and how to retain the lessons learnt in the mind were highlighted.
VISION 2020 PROJECT
Warm send off was given to the 30 students who were selected for National level Excursion as part of “Vision 2020” conceptualised by Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam and the students visited Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Amul, Mumbai, Delhi, Punjab, Waha Border and meeting of the President Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam.
